Buying the five-star review
I just received my second invitation in two weeks to join a book blog tour company that requires reviewers to post promotional material in lieu of a review if the review would be 3 stars or less. So disappointing! The abject fear of a negative review really baffles me and I find it deeply frustrating. Am hoping this isn't the trend now of book tour companies!
