Unabridged Chick

I'm Audra, a 30-something married lesbian. I love interesting heroines, gorgeous prose, place as character, and the occasional werewolf.

Bartleby the Scrivener (The Art of the Novella)

Bartleby the Scrivener (The Art of the Novella) - You can't go wrong with a Dover Thrift Edition: they're cheap, they're not padded with huge introductions or appendices, and they're unabridged. (Newer versions even have interesting covers!) Personally, I'm no fan of Melville, so I really shouldn't be reviewing this, but there you go. 'Benito Cereno' is far more interesting than 'Bartleby', in my opinion.
